Gavin is an Investment Company analyst at Deutsche Numis for, having joined from PwC in 2021. At PwC, Gavin worked in both the Valuations and Forensic Accounting teams. At Deutsche Numis, he focusses on the conventional Equity Investment Companies, Listed Private Equity and Other Alternatives. Gavin graduated from Henley Business School in 2016 with a First Class Honours in Accounting & Finance.
Julian Cane is a Director and Fund Manager in the UK Equities team. He joined Columbia Threadneedle through the acquisition of BMO GAM (EMEA) in 2021, having previously been with BMO (and its predecessor companies) since 1993. He became the Fund Manager for the F&C Income Growth Investment Trust in 1997, which subsequently became the CT UK Capital and Income Investment Trust, the role which he still fulfils today. Prior to joining the group, he worked for Mitsubishi Bank in Corporate Finance and Treasury. Julian has an MA degree in Economics from the University of Cambridge and passed the examinations of the Institute of Investment Management and Research before it merged with the CFA Society.
Hamish has 34 years of investment experience of which 30 years are in private equity. He has been head of the private equity team since inception and is lead manager of the CT Private Equity Trust PLC. Hamish was a Director of Martin Currie Investment Management between 1996 and 2005. His prior responsibilities at Martin Currie included small companies and Far Eastern equities. He started his career as an investment analyst with Robert Fleming Asset Management in 1988. Hamish is a graduate of Aberdeen University and Edinburgh University.
Ollie Beckett is a Portfolio Manager on the European Equities Team at Janus Henderson Investors. Ollie first joined Henderson as an assistant portfolio manager for European equities upon the firm's merger with AMP Asset Management in 1998 and was named fund manager in 1999. He moved to the Global Technology Team in 2000. He left Henderson in 2003 to pursue other interests before returning to his current role with the firm in 2005. Ollie received a BA degree (Hons) in economics and government from the University of Manchester. He has 29 years of financial industry experience.
Indriatti van Hien is a Portfolio Manager on the UK Equities Team at Janus Henderson Investors, a position she has held since 2016. Indriatti joined Henderson in 2011 as a UK equity analyst. Prior to Henderson, she was with PricewaterhouseCoopers, where she qualified as a chartered accountant. Indriatti graduated with a BA degree (Hons) in modern history and economics from Oxford University. She is a Chartered Accountant (ICAEW) and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and the Investment Management Certificate (IMC). She has 17 years of financial industry experience.
Nick joined Schroders Capital in January 2012 and is Head of UK Real Estate. Nick is fund manager for Schroder Real Estate Investment Trust. He is a member of the Global Direct Investment Committee and the Indirect Investment Committee, and is a board member of Schroder Real Estate Investment Management Limited.
Prior to joining Schroders, Nick was Head of UK Commercial Funds at Invista Real Estate. Nick began his investment career at LaSalle Investment Management and has 22 years real estate experience.
Jean joined Schroders in 2016 and became Fund Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Fund plc in February 2021, having been Co-Fund Manager since September 2016. Jean's investment career started in 1999 after graduating with a BA in Mathematics and French and an MSc in Financial and Industrial Mathematics. Previously, she worked at Morgan Stanley and Panmure Gordon, before moving to Hargreave Hale in 2013 as a fund manager. Jean is a CFA Charterholder.
